Queensland is Australia’s Great Barrier Reef and the Sunshine state and covers the northeast quadrant of the Australian continent.

Cairns is the gateway to Tropical North (TNQ) and provides access to the World Heritage listed rainforests and Great Barrier Reef. The resort town of Port Douglas offers five star to budget accommodation, superb dining, art galleries, markets, and opens up the to the Greater Daintree and Cape Tribulation Heritage parks. To the West are the tropical tablelands beginning with the village of Kuranda with access to the Kuranda Scenic Railway and the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway.

Centrally located in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef are the Whitsundays, comprising more than 70 tropical islands. Whitsunday Island boasts Whitehaven beach – a dazzling expanse of white silica sand stretching as far as the eye can see. Choose from any of 8 resort islands to capture your mood.

The Sunshine Coast is just an hour’s drive North of Brisbane, with unspoilt surf beaches, scenic hinterland and a relaxed casual lifestyle. Fraser Island is the world’s largest sand island – accessible by 4WD from Hervey Bay. It offers accommodation, walking tracks, freshwater lakes, surf beaches, and rainforest.
Take an overnight tour from the popular resort of Noosa. Go whalewatching from late July till early November.

Brisbane is a sophisticated world city with a confident and relaxed feel. It is justifiably proud of it’s entertainment, cultural, and recreation facilities. There are forty plus establishments listed on “Best Australian Restaurants” list. Spend an hour and you can visit world’s you would otherwise have to travel many continents to explore. North and South you will find rainforests, mountain ranges and spectacular waterfalls, glass clear streams and lush ferns. Brisbane’s regions include more than 70 bleachd white islands, as well as Moreton Bay, whose clear waters host nautical wrecks, coral coves, abundant sea life, including the famous Moreton Bay prawns. Take  boat trip to Tangalooma and hand feed the wild dolphins or visit the Crocodile Hunter’s back yard.
